Industrialist Alfried Krupp became minister for armament and war production under Hitler and was found guilty after the war of using slave labour in his factories. He served three years in prison.

The High Command Trial took place on 30 December 1947 and accused 14 high-ranking members of the German High Command and officers of the Wehrmacht, as well as one former admiral, of planning or participating in various atrocities in German-occupied Europe. Two were acquitted and a third committed suicide before the verdict was given, while the rest were convicted and given sentences ranging from three years to life.

The Ministries Trial (6 January 1948–13 April 1949) brought 21 members of the Nazi government to hear charges of waging wars of aggression, violating international treaties and crimes against humanity. Nineteen of the accused were found guilty and were sentenced to between four and 25 years in prison.
